From: pvtdance@pdmonthly.com (AndyE) Subject: ASSC: ASSCON-LV3 Better late than never. A personal note on ASSCON-LV3. First of all I wanna thank LMR for inviting me and my Private Dancer crew to this epic event. This being my first ASSC gathering, I thought it was great to finally match faces with the names, but I did manage to mix up some of the names (So, so so, sorry Cara) but that's what happens when you get virtually no sleep and working the Private Dancer booth at CES all day. They say I was walking around like a zombie. THE DINNER Because of madhouse at CES, we missed the dinner hosted by Jim Forte. It took forever for us to leave the Sands Expo and Convention Center. By the time we got back to our room, we had already decided to go straight to Olympic Gardens because Liza, current Private Dancer covergirl, and her friend Joey had made arrangements to work at OG, but they had to be there before 8 pm. THE EVENT We walked into OG hoping to find the party already in high gear. We were told the ASSC party was off to the right and I immediately began searching for the only two people I knew - LMR and/or Zbone. But they were no where in sight. So, I began searching for anyone that had the ASSCon-LV3 badge on 'em. Still no luck. Then I spotted a skinny white guy, who looked just as lost as I felt. "Internet Newsgroup ASSC, right?" he asks. He introduced himself as Pringle and we chatted while looking for anyone with a badge. About half an hour later I spotted this guy with a goatee walk in. He looked kinda familiar. I thought it was Fixer (I met him very briefly at CES) but it was Joshman. Finally, somebody sort of familiar. The rest of the event for me went by pretty fast. I remember literally bumping into Bubba with his dog collar and chain, looking up to TallGuy, and TheKid running around, well, like a kid in a candy store. LMR, as expected, arrives very very fashionably late with not one but two female escorts under both arms. I had a wonderful conversation with MsGinger -- but I can't for the life of me, remember what the hell we talked about. (Sorry Ginger. You probably think I'm an idiot, but I really did enjoy meeting you). My biggest blunder of the night was yet to come. I somehow got CaraBaby and DaraLynne mixed up. Maybe it was because both their names end in "ara." I knew both of them from the NG, but never met them in person. For some reason, I was talking to and Introducing Cara, as if she was Dara. That went over real well, but Cara was really cool about it and didn't embarrass me any further. In fact, Cara made quite an impression on my buddy Jay. Jay was suppose to leave for L.A. sometime during ASSCon but stayed and talked to and about Cara all night long. The highlight for me was undoubtedly my lap sessions with Rebecca. LMR and Zbone turned me on to this gorgeous blonde the last time we were in Las Vegas together. Out of all the laps I have gotten, and I have received more than my share, Rebecca by far is the best I've ever had. THE AFTER PARTY As the gathering at OG died down, a bunch of us led by LMR went to The Drink for a little dancing and drinks. We pretty much just hung out and watched TallGuy out on the dance floor. He literally stood out, not because of his height. TallGuy is really light on his feet and is a pretty good dancer. BREAKFAST After leaving The Drink, I dropped off my crew at the hotel. I thought about calling it a night when I realized that Liza and Joey were still working back at OG. The plan was for them to page me when they were done. But since I haven't heard from them yet, I decided to meet up with LMR and company for breakfast at Peppermill's on the Strip while I waited for their call. By the time I got there, everybody had ordered already. DragonFly, MsGinger, LMR, DaraLynne, TallGuy, Ook and CaraBaby. The service, to say the least, sucked big time. When I finally got a menu and was ready to order, everybody else's food starting arriving. But Dara was so out of it she couldn't eat her food, so I did. The bacon and eggs were OK. Ginger's fruit salad looked good but tasted terrible. By the looks of DF's plate, he didn't care for his food either. After paying the check, we all piled into the Ford Explorer that I was driving and took everyone back to their respective hotels. But I wasn't through yet. I still had to go back to OG and pick up the girls, Liza and Joey. By the time I got to OG, it was just past 6 am and luckily the girls were just about to call it quits. When we finally got back to the hotel, the sun was already up and we were due at CES in a couple of hours. I thought about staying up and go straight to the show, but common sense took over and I crashed for a couple of hours. EPILOGUE Overall, I really enjoyed ASSCon LV-3. I honestly thought that I'd be spending much of my time holding up the walls of OG, but that hardly was the case. I wannna thank everyone I met for making me feel welcomed. For those that I didn't meet, there's always next time. I also wanna apologize to anyone that I might have offended - I'm sure there were a few - but with working CES for four days, I wasn't quite thinking half of the time. Anyways, I hope this hasn't put anyone to sleep and if you've gotten this far you truly deserve some sort of medal. Until Next Time...No Money, No Honey, Sonny!
